 MRT Station 7
Mindanao Avenue

The Metro Rail Transit Line 7, also known as Mass Rail Transit Line 7,[4] MRT Line 7 or MRT-7, is a rapid transit line under construction in the Philippines. When completed, the line will be 22.8 kilometers (14.2 miles) long, with 14 stations, and will be the first line to feature third-rail electrification.[3] The line runs in a northeast–southwest direction, beginning at San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, and ending at the North Triangle Common Station, strategically located on North Avenue, Quezon City. It will be the second line to use heavy metro cars after LRT Line 2, which was opened in 2003.

The line will have 14 stations along its route. Only one station, North EDSA, will initially serve as an interchange with the other metro lines. However, the future is promising as two more stations will be interchanges when Line 8 opens, providing more convenience and connectivity for commuters.

Development:

The project involves the implementation of an integrated transportation system under the Build-Gradual-Transfer-Operate and Maintain (BGTOM) arrangement with components, namely:

The Metro Rail Transit System (MRTS), The Highway, and the Intermodal Transportation Terminal (ITT). It also features a joint station with MRT Line 3 at the EDSA corner of North Avenue, Quezon City, and LRT Line 1. The end station of the project in San Jose del Monte shall be connected to NLEX by an open road consisting of at least six (6) lanes of highway to the Bocaue interchange of the North Luzon Expressway.
